MICHEL P. HAGGERTY graduated from Marist College and earned his law degree from Vermont Law School in 1977. While at Vermont Law he received the American Jurisprudence Award for Excellence in Estate Planning. He was admitted to the New York State Bar and U.S. Tax Court in 1978. He is a longtime member of both the Elder Law Section of the New York State Bar Association and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA). Mr. Haggerty is also a Life Sustaining Fellow of the New York Bar Foundation.
