The Law Office of Melinda S. Bell is a Boutique Firm dedicated to compassionate representation benefitting individuals and families with special needs and unique circumstances.

We provide the following services:

Litigation Special Needs Trust Planning; We work with Consumer Attorneys, Professional Portfolio Investment Managers, Highly Educated and Trained Certified Financial Planners (C.F.P.’s), Private Professional Fiduciaries (most whose minimum educational level is an M.B.A. from Prominent Nationally Recognized Universities or a Juris Doctorate), Trust Companies, Banks and Registered Nurse Care Managers to establish a comprehensive settlement plan for your client that meets or exceeds prudent investment standards, preserves liquidity and maintains the flexibility to change based upon the financial, medical or circumstantial needs of the Beneficiary and the changing economic climate. If circumstances warrant, we prepare and educate non-professional, family members to undertake the Trustee role.

Special Needs Trust Administration; We have extensive experience working with Private Professional Fiduciaries, Nationally Recognized Trust Companies and Banks to provide world class care and attention to Beneficiaries and their families or advocates, while preserving eligibility for public benefits. The Private Professional Fiduciaries are available 7 days a week and outside of normal business hours to respond to your Client’s emergencies.

Conservatorships, with special emphasis on receipt and management of settlement proceeds for victims of Elder or Adult Dependent Abuse and Disabled Individuals receiving litigation settlements or verdicts.

Guardianships for minor children, with special emphasis on receipt, investment and management of litigations settlements or inheritances.

Traditional Decedent’s Estates, with extensive experience in probate administration and special administration of Wrongful Death, Elder Abuse, and negligence actions on behalf of decedent’s and their heirs.
