A native of Olean, New York, I attended the State University of New York College at Buffalo, and obtained my Juris Doctor from the Franklin Pierce Law Center (Now The University of New Hampshire Law School) in 2003.

I am a former Judge, former Assistant District Attorney and civil trial attorney turned Estate Planning, Asset Protection and Elderlaw attorney.  I have dealt my opponents numerous defeats in the court room. However, I am happiest when "everybody wins" when I build a customized estate plan to achieve their goals and protect their families and their assets.  Through over a decade in practice, I have witnessed numerous clients develop a need for long term skilled nursing care, and I've seen too many folks forced to pay huge amounts of their hard earned money to the nursing home, instead of leaving it to their children.  To make matters worse, these unanticipated changes in their lives often caused their estate plans not to function as they had initially intended, and led to internal family strife and destroyed relationships.     

These situations combined to ignite and fuel my passion to help my clients be certain that their lives and legacies are fully developed and that my firm's relationship with them is maintained in a manner that ensures that their plans remain fresh and valid throughout their lives, and are able to be administered by their loved ones with as little court, government and legal intervention as possible.
