Born in South America (Asuncion, Paraguay), Horacio Sosa has 10+ years of experience as a practicing attorney. He graduated cum laude from Universidad Catlica de Asuncin Law School in Asuncion, Paraguay in 1992 and began his legal career immediately upon graduation at Paraguayan law firm Peroni, Sosa, Tellechea, Burt & Narvaja. He also worked as an In-House Counsel for a wireless telecommunication carrier. In 1996 he was awarded a Fulbright scholarship and obtained an LLM degree for foreign lawyers from the University of Minnesota Law School. In 2001 he obtained the Juris Doctor degree from William Mitchell College of Law, St. Paul, Minnesota. Upon graduation, he was admitted to the Minnesota Bar and later, in 2002, to the Florida Bar.  His Minnesota license is currently inactive.

Mr. Sosa has been working in the areas of elder law, estate planning, special needs planning, guardianship, and estate administration since 2005.  He is a member of the Elder Law Section and the Real Estate, Probate, and Trust Section of the Florida Bar.  He is also member of the National Academy of the Elder Law Attorneys and the Academy of the Florida Elder Law Attorneys.  Mr. Sosa is accredited before the Vetarans Administration to submit and prosecute Veterans Administration benefits on behalf of his clients.
